6-14-24 Featured Vehicle

After a week with the 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited AWD, it’s no surprise discovering that the vehicle has earned lots of recognition as a great compact SUV for families. We found the model to be well-poised, confident, and so well-equipped that it could almost pass itself off as a luxury SUV. At just $40,315 delivered, that spells value.

Granted, the Limited sits at the top of the Tucson lineup, so one should expect more than a stripped down edition, but even at its entry SE FWD level, this SUV has plenty to offer for the $28,875 base price (delivered).

However, we don’t recommend that buyers make that much of a sacrifice. No, we were quite comfortable with the Limited’s many niceties, many of which you’ll find in our slide show below.

If there was anything to complain about it would be the peculiar metal ornamentation on the seat-back below the headrest. It had the nasty habit of stabbing into one’s back when turning or changing one’s position a certain way in the seat.

For some, the 187 horsepower won’t be enough, and the fuel economy is kind of mid-ling at 25 mpg combined city/highway driving. For better than that, you might want to check out the hybrid version of the Tucson. Otherwise, this is one compact SUV you won’t want to leave off your short list.
